Hello, I'm Cori Callahan

MA, LPC

If you are searching for assistance with behavioral or emotional challenges, San Antonio Compassionate Counseling & Behavioral Center (SACCBC) specializes in evaluating, assessing, and treating child, adolescent, and young adult issues.

"I have had a passion for children and young adults for as long as I can remember.

One of my greatest joys is helping children overcome social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.  I am uniquely gifted and professionally trained to help your child recognize and navigate these challenges.  Together, we can help your child or young adult develop the personal insight, courage, and confidence needed to successfully prepare for their future."

After graduating from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in 1998, with an Undergraduate degree in Psychology, Cori Callahan pursued her passion for kids as a educator.  Cori later completed a Graduate program in Counseling, at Wayland University, San Antonio Texas.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), certified by the State of Texas.

Cori gained extensive experience helping kids and young adults at numerous San Antonio behavioral health facilities.  Her expertise includes developing treatment plans, in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), individual therapy at residential treatment facilities, and conducting social skills groups at a local San Antonio school district.  She currently conducts intake assessments for inpatient psychiatric services or hospitalization.

Since 1998, Cori has leveraged her passion for kids, experience in various professional counseling fields, and completion of formal education to help give children and young adults their best opportunity to improve their lives.
